The influencer and nurse recently gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Sydney.
Terrie and her husband David are overjoyed with their new parenthood, although they don’t seem to support everyone.
Terrie shared some horrific comments and DMs she’s had on Instagram since becoming a mom and urged her followers to be kind to others and themselves.
After sharing the hateful news she received, she wrote about her stories and said, “Sorry, I usually never give these people airtime. What I shared recently was very, very mild compared to some of the messages I received in my first few weeks as a mom.
“I’m absolutely fine and have an incredible support system around me, so I, my family and friends laugh at most of this crazy news.
“At this stage it’s like water off a duck’s back. I know I do my best and do a hell of a job raising our little beauty so far. That’s all that counts!
“But I just want to point out that while a new mom looks like she’s fine, she might have trouble. So please treat her with care. Keep your opinion to yourself and just be nice!
“To all of the new moms out there who feel like you are being influenced by people’s opinions – ignore!
“If you do your best and what you believe works for you, you are doing an amazing job! Send you the biggest hug and love! Hold on, mom xxx “
Terrie also revealed that even her husband David received hatred in his DMs.
The two support each other and others as they celebrate their daughter Sydney’s nine weeks.
