That meant the couple had to dance virtually from home instead of performing from the ballroom.
In addition, hosts Tyra Banks declared this judge Derek Hough was absent from the episode “due to possible COVID exposure” even though he tested negative and is fully vaccinated. As a result, each couple’s score for that week would only be 30 potential points, with Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli Dealing with the evaluations as in the old days.
