The Westlife Star told Jonathan Ross all about his wild night at Wayne Rooney’s wedding and it’s absolutely gas.

Wayne’s wife Coleen booked Westlife for the wedding as a surprise for Wayne, who is a huge fan.

Kian said, “Actually, it was Coleen who surprisingly booked us for Wayne. We thought it was the other way around – we thought Coleen might be the fan.

“He came up and sang with us. He kind of rped it. It was just a small wedding, I think there were 70 people there. It was the smallest gig we’ve ever done, but it was fun. “

After the guys performed they stopped around for a few drinks, imagine yourself celebrating with Westlife at your wedding!

Even if the night didn’t end so smoothly for Kian …

“I definitely got carried away a bit. We started having a few drinks and before you know it you’re at the bar taking shots with one of Wayne’s cousins or something, ”he said.

“I remember being carried by our security and going back to our changing room at the hotel and vomiting in the bathtub!” he added.

Ouch! Sounds like a very fun evening though.

Westlife is preparing to put on two shows at Aviva next summer. You recently revealed to VIP the secret of their success after all these years;

“There are ups and downs in every relationship. But what worked well for us, I think, was the seven-year break we had in 2012.

“We all accept these different things. And then see you again, you know, we have to come back too and give another chance. And I think since we were 19 people love doing that. We enjoyed every part, we had ups and downs.

“We had records that went really well, we had some that didn’t do that well. And one of the big things was our family … and our kids now came over to see their daddy on stage. All of these little nuggets and things that have come up over the years have brought us, I believe, very close allies and friends and family in that regard.

“So that’s a special part, but then you always try to make the next song better. You always try to make the next album better. Obviously, the pandemic is proving difficult for us like all of us. We did an album from home, with a mobile studio traveling around, which was interesting, so it obviously came out in November.

“And it’s just all these little things that keep you going, like everything you dig deep and always have to find new ways to make things special.”
