After seven years of marriage and two children of 3, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez decided to separate. The pair, married in secret in June 2004 at Jennifer’s Beverly Hills home.
They declared for “People” magazine in a short statement:
“This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.”
“It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”
With Jennifer Lopez traveling around Europe and Marc Anthony filming the TNT medical drama Hawthorne in which he plays a police detective, the couple had not been seen together since early June.
