Brian LaundryHis family has decided not to hold a memorial service for him as they are awaiting more details about his death.
The family lawyer, Steve Bertolino, said in a statement that Brian’s parents will forego traditional worship and have his remains cremated instead, media reported on Sunday, October 24th. Brian, the late influencer’s 23-year-old former fiancé Gabby PetitoHe was confirmed dead on Thursday October 21st.
In addition, the attorney stated that an autopsy inconsistent with how Brian died, and the remains were sent to an anthropologist for evaluation.
On Wednesday October 20, investigators found human remains along with Brian’s personal effects in a previously submerged location at Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, Florida. The next day, the FBI confirmed that it had used dental records to identify the remains.
The discovery of the remains followed a five-week manhunt for Brian. His parents told police they hadn’t seen him since September 14, when he was reportedly hiking on the reservation and had not returned.
